Car Alarms: Isuzu Trooper alarm, valet mode, isuzu trooper

Question
I have an Isuzu Trooper (95) The alarm system has a button in the middle console and I guess someone spilled something in it. Now it will not shut off and the alarm goes off randomly... Very loud and obnoxous! This happens at 3 am for no reason... If you go to open the door it does it.. How can I just remove the alarm. I dont want it and there is nothing to steal in my car anyways other then some chewed crackers from my 2 year olds car seat.. PLEASE HELP ME

Answer
Ok, should be fairly easy. To try to disarm it,
look under the dash area for a button or,
a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the
ignition key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

That should solve the troubles for now.
Repeat the steps to toggle back to valet when needed.

Let me know what you discover.
