Car Alarms: Remote Start, 2007 chrysler pacifica, chrysler pacifica

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica AWD.  I need to find a remote start that I can add to my factory alarm system.  I just want a remote start.  Nothing fancy.  Decent range.  Do you know of anyplace I can purchase one and possilbe do the install myself.

ANSWER: I have a couple of excellent options for this SUV now
that you mention it. We just did one in the shop here last
week using the ASTRA 100 S and the PKUCG2X transponder
bypass kit, and it went very well.

(Customer still raving about it.! :>) )

Installed, this was 245.00 +tax, but since you plan to do
this yourself, it would only run 150.00 +s&h

See ASTRA 1000 S at www.STARTBYREMOTE.com .
The other starter is the Excalibur 310 RS.

Both in stock and ready for immediate shippment.

If this works for your project, copy cut n paste
the link below and I will make it so. ;>)

QUESTION: Which one of the 2 you recommeded has the most features.... Also will I be able to do the install myself.  Is it difficult.  How intense will the project be.

Answer
The Excalibur has more features, but would require
more installation time, and effort as it also comes
with a keyless entry system. (you mentioned easy,
do it yourself capable -with the right support- and
to JUST add the capability, or I would have offered
something more extensive.

The ASTRA 100 s is the easiest, and will take
about 3 to 4 hours of layout & soldering /black taping etc...

Not rocket science, It's solder this wire to that wire,
but I am a kind of stickler for soldering and dressing
the wires long term use. You can use the wrap and tape method
as most do, and do this in under 3 hours.

It's all in the under dash cavity.
