Car Alarms: k-9 alarm, trouble shooting, omega

Question
I have had my alarm for around 10 years and have never had any problems with it until now. I had to replace my battery recently and now, nothig works. The light comes on, I can turn the alarm on and off with the button, but I cannot arm or disarm the alarm with my remote. The valat function will not work either. I have also replaced the battery in the remote and the light on it works as well, but nothing is working. Please help.

system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
