Car Alarms: alarm system shut down, passlock ii, remote start

QUESTION: I have a '98 GMC pick up w/ a factory alarm system. When it trips the truck won't start. I believe it shuts down the fuel pump. It usually starts after about 30 minutes or if I disconnect the battery and reset the whole truck. BUT, today no luck. I can not get her to start. I have pressed the disarm button, still nothing. How can I disarm this system for good!?

QUESTION: so it's not as easy as cutting a few wires or jumping wires around something? Also I don't have remote engine start, would a passlock 2 still apply?

Yes on the passlock II applying here.
Remote start in this case is not required.
(see info relating to that on GMPASSLOCK.com)

The bypass kit however, is. :>(

I have it in stock and ready to
ship with thinfo on how to get it
done as well.
