Car Alarms: DEI Python 1400XP Installation, technical support desk, directed electronics inc

I purchased the Python 1400XP keyless entry/starter for my daughter who then purchased a new car and has never used this system. My sister has a 1996 Subaru Legacy with manual door locks. Would this system work on her car and what is needed for the installation?
