Car Alarms: TDS Alarm System, toyota landcruiser, fuse blows

Question
I have a used 1996 Toyota Landcruiser. The person I bought the vehicle from new nothing about the alarm system stated that it never work for him. I have and the truck for about 9 months with no electrical problems until recently. The EFI 15A fuse blows about every 2 weeks for unknown reason. Is the alarm system wired to this fuse for engine disabler? Do you recommend a tech taking the existing system off and installing a new one (not to cheap)or is there a way to bypass this feature. And last, Does this EFI fuse have anything to do with the alarm system at all. Thought I'd ask do to some quriks due to the alarm ie. Horn blows three times when used in traffic and unlocks the doors when blown:). Nice. Any advice will help. Thanks in advance. Bill
