Car Alarms: Carbine alarm, ford contour, override switch

Question
I have a Ford Contour 98 4cyl with a Carbine Alarm but I cant stop the alarm with the control remote, the only way to stop it is disconnecting the car's battery, I have changed the battery to the control remote but that don't resolve the problem, I have used the 2nd control remote but is the same. I will appreciate if you can give me a tip to resolve my problem

Locate the valet override switch under the dash and try this:

KEY ON, PRESS IN AND HOLD THE VALET SWITCH UNTIL
YOU GET A CHIRP FROM THE SIREN. THEN KEY OFF.

Thee alarm should be disable except for the keyless entry.

Then contact www.magnadyne.com for the manufacturer
and to inquire about programming and or replacements.
