QUESTION: MY MISTAKE I HAVE A "CONVERTIBLE" 97 SEBRING SO IS IT THE GREEN AND WHITE IN THE DOORHARNESS OR THE GREEN AND ORANGE IN THE KICKPANEL? AND IF IT IS THE KICKPANEL CAN I DO THE SAME THING??

ANSWER: Nope, totaly different animal.
Yes on GREEN/ORANGE. Unfortunately thow,
this car is wierd.

This disarm would require a positive pulse thru
a resistor and the only way to set that up
is with an aftermarket system that can provide that.
A momentary pulse is needed as opossed to grounding completely
which is normally required, and only through a value specified resistor and 30 amp relay.

Screwy indeed. :>(

You'll need a tech on this one.

QUESTION: OK? NOW THROUGH MY TEARS!!!  DIDN'T CHRYSLER KNOW THIS CAR WASN'T WORTH STEALIN:)! SO MY END OF THE DAY ANSWER IS TO GET A NEW ALARM SYSTEM???? NO CHEAPER WAY???

Answer
I wish I had some sunshine I could throw at this issue, but alas,
it is a monumental POS. Stupid design, and huge
"blow back" on this issue and many others. The should
be ashamed.

Yell at Chrysler. Just the messenger here. Get friendly with the
local Dodge technician near you. Or find a decent car alarm
guy near you to "get er done."
