Car Alarms: disable acura alarm, alarmtek, acura legend

Question
QUESTION:  I OWN A 1995 ACURA LEGEND , THE ALARM STARTED GOING OFF AND I CAN'T RESET IT . I AM NOT SURE IF THERE IS A CYCLE IT MUST GO THROUGH OR WHAT . I THINK THE PANIC BUTTON WAS PUSHED ...? OR THERE MAY JUST BE A SHORT IN THE SYSTEM . I RECONNECTED THE BATTERY AND IT STILL SOUNDS . I TRIED LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR TO STOP IT . I TRIED RESETTING IT BY REMOTE AND IT DID LOCK AND UNLOCK , BUT IT STILL SOUNDS...? I PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION TO TRY AND RESET IT , BUT THE ENGINE IS DISABLED AND WILL NOT START . I CAN'T FIGURE ANYTHING  ELSE OUT ABOUT IT EXCEPT MAYBE THERE IS A CYCLE IT MUST GO THROUGH . ALL OF THE FUSES AND RELAYS ARE NOT MARKED WITH ANYTHING ABOUT THE ALARM SYSTEM . I AM COMPLETELY BEWILDERED ON WHAT TO DO . I WILL BE HAPPY TO TOTALLY DISABLE THE SYSTEM AND NOT EVEN USE IT IF THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION I HAVE . ANY HELP WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED ! THANKS !

ANSWER: Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.
