Car Alarms: 2008 nissan rouge s alarm installation, intelligent key, affiliate index

I'm planning on installing a alarm in my moms car and was wondering if it would just install with the alarm it self or would i need anything extra to install it. it has factory keyless, its not intelligent key. thanks

ok, you are mistaken on the 08' Rouge
not having an alarm/immobilizer:

But this would only be important if you were installing
a remote starter. You said "alarm".

An Alarm should have very little, to no problems.
I would suggest however, that you get the wiring info on this car
prior to installation as this car does have a limited
"alarm" that would trigger the horn and the headlights if
breached. You would need this information if it conflicts
with the after market system you are installing.
