Car Alarms: Delta car alarm, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee

I have a 97 jeep grand cherokee with a delta alarm already installed when i purchased the vehicle also I still have the factory alarm. the problem I having is trying to arm the delta alarm, I have checked the wiring going to the control panel which is hot.the model # is 455T is all I see on this.The previous owner said that he just disconnected the remote, but I don't see any loose wires any where
