Car Alarms: Alarm sensitivety settings, prestige alarm, gust of wind

Question
We have a 84 camaro w/a prestige alarm in it and it will go off when theres a loud noise or a gust of wind. I was wondering if there is a setting to make it less sensitive?

Answer
There will be a shock/impact sensor connected to the
unit, and likely wire tied in place under the dash.
In it will have a setting wheel. Turn counter clockwise,
testing it as you go by arming, rapping on the outer shell
of the car for sensitivity level you like, until you get
the desired sensitivity that works for you.

Or unplug it all together and rely/depend on the
door trigeers to protect the vehicle. :>)
