Car Alarms: car alarm, keyless entry systems, dodge caravan

Question
I have a 95 Dodge caravan that has an after market Sidewinder alarm system.  I have never used it but I do have the 4 button key fobs .  I do not know what the codes are, do not have the manual, and do not know the previous owner.  The problem is that today for some reason when I tried to start the van the alarm went off and the van won't start. Can I reprogram this with the key fob and if so how.  From some other answers I have read it sounds like I should look for a switch under the dash to over ride.
