Car Alarms: 2000 Jeep Grand cherokee alarm, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee

Can you help me with this alarm system on my 2000 jeep grand cherokee , i
replaced the battery and now the little led blinks and the alarm sounds and i
have to hit the valet button under next to the left side panel , i have held the
button in and no reset happens , can you help me ?

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

KEY ON JUST BEFORE CRANKING ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.
KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If it's the OEM factory system, and the transponder
has reset, you will need to talk to Jeep about
re setting it.
