Car Alarms: Reprogramming sidewinder 5000esp alarm, keyless entry systems, christmas function

Question
My 4x4 was recently valet parked at a Christmas function.  When I got the truck back later my remote was missing.  I have a backup remote but want to reprogram the actual alarm so it will not recognized the missing remote just to be on the safe side.  I have found out how to program new remotes into the alarm system but have found no info on actually removing a remote from the system.  Your help will be very much appreciated.
