Car Alarms: remote starter/ car alarm, 2007 ford explorer, factory noise

Question
I just bought a used 2007 Ford Explorer. When you remote lock the vehicle the horn blows 2 times and then about every 10 seconds the horn blows. I went to the Ford dealer and they say the remote starter  is somehow causing this. The starter is an aftermarket unit with code alora on the unit. Can you help  me fix this?

Answer
True. The installer seems to have forgotten to
affix the (-) factory disarm when running wire
from the code alarm.

Take this to a local car alarm store, and ask
them to either attach the wire (locate in the install manual)
to the factory alarm disarm wire, or disable
the Factory alarm completely.

Sorry, I don't actually share this information online
as it can get around how that is done. :>(
But a good technician will have access to the
data needed to get this taken care of.

Once done, when you go to start the engine remotely,
the factory noise generating alarm will go mute,
and in-active until the remote cycle is complete.

Good luck.
