Car Alarms: Cade Alarm remote starter stopped working this winter, acura mdx, car doors

Our 2002 Acura MDX has a Code Alarm CA 530 system.  The remote start function stopped working.  The normal operation is press the remote start button for 2 sec.  Car doors can be heard locking, then the car starts up, and then you hear a confirmation toot of the horn.

But starting a few weeks ago, perhaps when it got cold... I no longer hear the door lock cycle, and the car just cranks and cranks but does not turn over.  And oviously no horn toot.

I suspect the hidden key is not getting its signal out?

Yep, sounds like the temp may have affected it.
Could be the ring around the ignition may
need to be hot glued in place if using
a universal bypass, key in the box, system here.

Try re seating it's location and 'perm a bonding' it in place,
or get the bypasskit that does not require
giving up the key for a cleaner,
1 time install system.
