Car Alarms: remote start doesnt work, return exchange policy, alarmtek

I recently tried to track a short down that I thought was possibly in the alarm system, & come to find out it wasn't. But i pulled all the fuses out from the alarm ie. 30amp,15amp,10amp & reinserted them after 5 mins appx & my alarm works as far as arming & disarming the door locks &the alarm system itself , but my remote start no longer works. I hit the button and NO JOY! do u know what problem is ? I checked the fuses and they are all fine ! please help asap ! thank u

No, hard to do that without bench testing it.
But from the sounds of it, you might have
smoked the brain box due to a mis connection.

Smell the box. You know what burnt smells like.

If you did, it happens. Contact your seller for
his return exchange policy. If you did not,
then re do the wiring to instruction.
If still dead, then return to seller for replacement
or repair. (He will bench test it to be certain if
it's manufacturer design assembly fault, or if
you zapped it. Easy for a tech to sort that out).
