Car Alarms: 2000 acura integra gsr alarm, acura integra gsr, 2000 acura integra gsr

ok so as you know from the title i have a 2000 acura integra gsr. which i am pretty sure has the stock alarm system since its engaged directly from the acura automatic remote. last night my remote decided it was not going to work anymore, even after i replaced the battery. the light on the remote just stays on so i cannot push any buttons. and for some reason. the alarm on my car goes off when i use the master key in the door lock after i have locked it with the remote.and the ignition does not recognize my master key. so the alarm will not shut off which disables my fuel system not allowing the car to do anything. any suggestions on how to disconnect the alarm? or what might be the problem with the remote?
