Is it possible to put an automatic starter into a 2005 Pontiac sunfire that has a manual 5 speed transmission? Are there particular types of starters that I would need for this make of vehicle? Any information I should consider before purchasing one?

Well, it's not advised because of the liability
involved with remote starting a vehicle with
standard transmissions.

I suggest you locate the installer you'll use,
PRIOR to buying one,
( I carry them here at www.startbyremote.com )
and then purchase the unit.

You will also need to buy
a bypass module to circumvent the PASSLOCK in your
ignition switch to do remote start regardless
of what system you buy.

Not the easiest of projects for this sort of thing.

Best suggestion I can offer on the subject,
is to get a good technician on this.
