Car Alarms: 1995 Toy Previa Keyless Entry install, power door locks, keyless entry system

Question
I've got a 1995 Toyota Previa with factory power door locks. I bought it used so I'm not sure if it ever had keyless entry or not. Basically I don't want to buy a kit and start installing if all I need is a remote and some programming instructions.

1. How can I find out if it has factory keyless entry? Am I looking for a box or some wiring/relays?

2. If it turns out that I don't have the wiring and relays for keyless entry, do you have a keyless entry only kit for my application?

Answer
Well, you can first try the service/parts
department at the local Toyota dealership and
check by vin #. That will be expensive for you
:>(

Or, simply add the ASTRA 50 keyless entry system
for 44. and be happy. Relays are built
in. It's a matter of putting wire to wire, and
very few of those in this mini van.

All the work in in the ignition colum area under
the dash. Really about a 45 minute job I think.

See this at www.KEYLESSCAR.com

Nothing else is required on the 95 Previa to do the
door lock system.

Have a good day.
