Car Alarms: 1994-5 Eagle Vision TSI starter problem, eagle vision tsi, starter problem

Hello, i was hoping someone could help me.
I recently installed a remote starter on my eagle vision tsi and it seems that i cannot force the damn factory alarm to be disabled. All wiring diagrams i see are telling me the alarm disable wire (orange/green) located at the driver's kick panel, has to be connected  to ground or connect to the disable wire on the remote start module.
I have tried both. Tried connecting it to ground, tried connecting it to the remote start module. However, it seems that when i lock the doors, the alarm still gets armed, and when i try to remote start the car, the lights start flashing, honk goes crazy, and car dies immediately after it starts. Any idea why this would happen? I am absolutely positive everything is hooked up just like the diagrams suggest. Thank you very much.

Right colors, but you have them backwards.

Try the 20 guage light green with orange striped wire
in either kick panel going out to the door and ground
using the factory disarm when running wire from the
remote starter.

That will solve it.
