Car Alarms: Code Alarm-CA 170- doors wont open, alarmtek, door locks

Hi,
I have been using the above mentioned alarm for some time but lately I have not been able to remotely open the doors. This feature was previously working perfectly, then on occasions it would work, then finally now, it doesn't work. The alarm can be disarmed but the doors won't open!
Can an Expert please advise me on how to fix this problem?

Without inspection, hard to say.
I'd start looking at the connection from the alarm to the
door locks, relays etc.. and any fusable links that may
be in line.

All things being equal, if it was working, it should STILL
be working. Locate the wiring and find out what went wrong
then apply the fix. Logical, right?.
