Car Alarms: my alarm is driving me nuts, brain box, override

Question
Why does the alarm go off consistently especially at night after the alarm has been set for hours? Even after i disarmed it, it will reset itself and sound off again, even if i set the alarm to stay off. I have adjusted the sensitively level several times but that does not make a difference.

Ok, it sounds like it is seeing a current drain and is in trigger mode. If resetting by override is not working, unplugging the brain box and resetting that way should.

If no joy at that point, replace it. Repair
is costly, and if it just simply started doing it and will not
respond to commands, time to replace it and be happy.

Don't waste alot of time trying to get it serviced.
