Car Alarms: Problem with locks after door replacement, side locks, side doors

Question
QUESTION: I don't know what kind of alarm my 99 Toyoto Avalon has on it.  Here's what happened.

My drivers side doors were scraped.  We replaced them with 97 Camry doors.  We transfered only the one lock from the original door to the Camry door.  We believe we hooked up the three wires correctly.

The problem... When I hit the lock button on the remote, it locks the drivers side but unlocks the passenger.  When I click the unlock button, the passenger side locks but the drivers side unlocks!

What is the solution to this??

ANSWER: Seems you reversed the door lock and unlock wires on the replacement.
Switch um. That should fix it.

ALARMTEK.

QUESTION: Which wires do I switch though.  The wiring harness only plugs into the plug for the door switch one way, so that means I actually have to cut the wires where the plug goes into the harness itself.  There are three different plugs that come out of the door that plug into the master harness, right behind the kick panel on the drivers side.  These three plugs only go into a certain spot on the harness... in other words, I can't plug them into another spot on the harness.  Where can I find a diagram that might help me?

Answer
Hard to say without full line inspection, which entails
that you locate by tracing all wires from lock switch to
keyless module to loacte the trouble spot that was switched to
create the issue you have now.

So it's a physical inspection/evaluation that's needed.
