Car Alarms: Remote start wiring, gm vehicle, power locks

Question
Hi there.  I've installed 2 remote start kits in my 2 ford vehicles and have just started on my first GM vehicle.  All went smoothly untill it came to the power locks.  I'm trying to get the keyless entry all hooked up for the trunk and the power locks but am having trouble finding the wires.  It uses a negavie (-) trigger and my remote start kit is a (-) trigger so it should be an easy hookup when i find the wires!  I shouldn't even need a relay.  My car is a 2000 grand prix GT 2 door.  It says the wires are light blue and white for the lock and unlock and are located in the driver kick panel.  Theres about 3 or more of each color in the kick panel and i can't get any of them to test 0 for negative on my voltmeter.  They all test with a power source most at 12 volts.  I was just wondering if there is an easier way to find the right wires and where i can find them at?  On my fords the door locks use a positive (+) pulse so i just used a relay to convert the (-) on the remote start to the (+) on the vehicle and all went smooth.  Also the wires were easier to find!  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Answer
POWER LOCK| lt. blue |-| driver kick panel
POWER UNLOCK| white  |-| driver kick panel

This is a 3 wire negative door lock system
To do a simple test. use a simple grounded test light,
NOT A MULTIMETER!

Probe the light blue. Once you put a ground to this wire
it would lock the door. Same with the unlock.
Then it should be a direct wire to do the locks.

Good luck.
