Car Alarms: Car broken into. Alarm worked, keyless entry systems, car alarms

My Car broken into and Alarm worked it stopped the person from driving away with my car. Now I have purchased an New Key assembly and Steering column covers. I have installed them and the Alarm will not allow me to start the car. When I press the Lock or unlock button it does nothing, no beeps no flash. On the dash is a Blue light that flashes when the car is armed, I have no light at all seeming to be shut down, I cycled the key through the ignition sequence and no response at all. I do not know where the alarm module is to press the Valet button that I see everyone talking about..My car is a 1996 Honda Accord, I have the Python alarm that was put in after the Honda Executive Alarm Failed.
