QUESTION: I have the k-9 mundial, with the glass breakage. Within t last month there has been issues. At time i will get in the car, and it will not start. Once i let the car sit for several hours it will start up. do this alarm have a starter attached and if so how difficult will it be to disconnect the alarm. the shop that installed the alarm wants $85/ this is a 2000 Nissan altima 4 dr/gxe. it has a factory alarm.

ANSWER: Take it to another shop. It should be 50. or less to remove any
alarm system. And in your car would take less then 45 minutes
to remove the alarm, and repair the wiring.

But yes, remove it and start over with a better alarm that
you are happy with.

QUESTION: until i get the problem resolved is there anyway to start the car. there is a little button I was playing with it is black with a switch in the middle, and what wires will they have to repair.

Alright, try this:
turn on the ignition key, press and hold in the button
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE
The starter kill relay would also be opened.

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

That should solve the troubles for now.
