Car Alarms: 1998 Honda Civic EX factory alarm, car alarm installer, keyless entry system

My 1998 Honda Civic has a factory alarm, but anything
(using anything other than the key fob to unlock doors or
trunk) sets it off and sometimes it won't shut off.  Is
there a way to permanently disable the alarm system while
keeping the factory keyless entry system?

Please go to www.remotesunlimited.com and identify the
alarm you have there, because it's unlikely to be an OEM/
factory alarm in this year Civic.

Then once you find the manufacturer, they would/should have
info pertaining to that alarm you can use to trouble shoot it.

If it needs to be inspected, take it to any local
car alarm installer for evaluation & repair.

Probably a good idea any way since the idea here
is security that works for you instead of against,
or simply not at all.
