Car Alarms: 2002 VW Passat Alarm Triggers for 30 seconds 1 hour after locking the car, vw passat, panic alarm

Hi,

I am having a problem with my 2002 VW Passat. Just around
an hour after I lock the car, the panic alarm goes off
(light + alarm) for around 30 seconds. After 30 seconds
it comes to halt, and there are no other issues.

The alarm is factory fitted.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
