Car Alarms: 00 Honda Passport Alert alarm system, honda passport, trunk bottom

I purchased this vehicle, battery went dead, installed new battery, alarm and lights energized, apparent kill switch prevents me from starting car. I.D. on the remote entry system is "FCC ID H50T21", IC1640B-T01. Can you lead me to a manual for this system so I can learn to operate properly. I contacted owner and he tell me he can't remember who installed the alarm (after market). Remote is 4 button : Top left is LOCK; top right is UNLOCK; bottom left is TRUNK; bottom right is REMOTE STARTER.  Any suggestions or assistance is appreciated
