Car Alarms: How to turn off alarm auto arming ?, resident technicians, toyota camry

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry, with the original Toyota brand car alarm, installed at the time of purchase. For 7 years the alarm does not arm itself after I slam close all car doors.  But a week ago the LED begins to blink after I close the car door, and the alarm arms itself after some 30 seconds. It's very annoying since I park my card in the garage.  I don't even know what I did to set it into this auto arming mode.  How can I turn off this auto arming mode ?   Thanks very much.
