Car Alarms: Toyota camry auto alarm, toyota camry, resident technicians

Question
My 2004 Toyota Camry when unlocked and left sitting will automatically arm the alarm system but not lock the doors. I tend to forget and go out to my car only to have the alarm go off. I do have a little black attachment under the dash with a red LED. I was wondering how to deactivate just this feature while still maintaining my keyless entry and regular alarm system. Thank You.

my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features, or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
