Car Alarms: prestige alarms, nissan altima, prestige alarm

I just bought a 94 nissan altima with a prestige alarm fcgidelvatopap52k8, when I use the alarm , it doesn't allow the car to start(fortunally its a stick so i don't get stuck), could the alarm have a 15 or longer delay before it allows the car to start or is it just bad? I didn't receive a book for the alarm .There is an option button on the remote but im not sure what its far is there a way to purchase a book for this? also the trunk lock/open button on the alarm doesn't work.

Sorry, I don't supply manuals here.
On this one, the best thing here is

with this project. I don't know enough
on this system to advise you properly.
