Car Alarms: 2001 Plymouth Neon Alarm, plymouth neon, override switch

Question
Car Alarms: 2001 Plymouth Neon Alarm, plymouth neon, override switch
JT3KT7A
I have a 2001 used Plymouth Neon.  It is equipped with an alarm that I am pretty sure is a Checkmate KD-200PC, KD-500, or KD-70SPC.  The Keyless entry is FCC: JT3KT7A.  The alarm has always been very touchy, going off at the slightest touch and irritation.  The keyless entry got wet a couple weeks back and when it dried out it worked fine.  However, the next day the keyless entry didn't work.  So I opened the door manually and hit the override switch under the dash.  This shut off the alarm but now the car wouldn't start.  Since this I have replaced the battery in the Keyless entry and before I could test if this was the solution I noticed the car battery had died as well.  Also, the Keyless entry LED is now glowing every so slightly.  PLEASE HELP... Is there a way to disengage this alarm by pulling a relay or something?  Does anyone have any wiring diagrams i could look at?  I want my car to start first and then of course i want to yank that horrible alarm out of my car and install a good one myself so I know whats up with the next one.  Attached is the type of keyless entry that I have.

Answer
That's hard to say. Pretty involved
to go into here so please, if you
would, restate this question in my installers
forum at www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

They can go into a more detailed assistance
you might need on this project.

Good luck there.
