Car Alarms: Alarm System enable/disable horn notification, 2001 isuzu trooper, resident technicians

Hello, I have a 2001 Isuzu Trooper I've only had it a couple months. My question is, when I press "lock" once on the key less entry remote it used to flash the lights and of course lock the doors, and when double clicking "lock" it would beep and flash the lights. But I think somehow I hit a combination that turns this function on or off. Now when I press "un-lock" it doesn't flash the lights. I would like to know if there is a way to turn this function on or off, or is a relay going bad somewhere? I've been searching for instructions for hours and I can't really find anything helpful. However I know some security systems have this option to silence the beep, etc... Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advanced. :)
