Car Alarms: bmw alarm/immobiliser, bmw alarm, resident technicians

does my bmw 318i se n reg have a standard factory fit alarm/immobiliser,and if it does,does it have some sort of name so i can say this to my insurance company.

with this project.

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features, or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
