If it's an after market alarm it may have starter
kill already. Do you know if there is an alarm
already installed now or not?

QUESTION: my truck cranked with the remote start it would run but the starter wont shut off and then the factory alarm wouldnt let me start the truck. finally after try different things for a while. i pressed the panic butten on the factory alarm and put the key in and it started up fine. i read in a couple places about some passlock bypass but i wonder why did my truck start with the remote start for about 5-10 second even though the starter was stuck if the antitheft security was activated would that kill all current.also do i really need to buy a passlock bypass or is their another way if i dig deep enough dont mind buying it but always willing to have a little fun.

Answer
Yes if it's the passlock system shutting you down,
then yes a bypass is needed. key thing here
is that to program it, the engine MUST be able
to start up and run long enough to go through
the set up.

If not, then GM service is the next stop.

See the pljx bypass kit at www.PASSLOCK2.com
if all criteria are met.
