Car Alarms: sidewinder 6000, keyless entry systems, old brain

Question
I Had someone attempt to steal my truck. I have an after market sidewinder 600o alarm with everything but remote start, I have replaced all the stuff destroyed on the steering column and I think they fudged my alarm. I get no response from the alarm remote. I have tried to reset the system via the valet switch but the alarm will not respond. The alarm speaker constantly makes this low volume( almost inaudible) sick skipping broken record sound. How do I bypass the alarm? can I buy another sidewinder and just unplug the old brain and plug in the new one? Any advice you have will be appreciated
