I recently got an Toyota Corolla 2000 to commute to work, but there no security system on it. I'd like to know from you, which inexpensive car alarm system fits the best on my car.

You can do this under 50 bucks if you like.

The P10 from Galaxy is a fine choice.
It's only 46.00 +s&h but does a very good job,
and is easy to install into your car.
If you'd like starter kill, then add 8.00
for that as well.
