Car Alarms: Viper 30 esp problem, viper 300, keyless entry systems

Question
Last week when I went to work I left the lights on for 3 hours in my Toyota Corolla which had a recently new battery put in, and also has the viper 300 esp alarm sysytem in it. When I cam out for a break toget in the car I hit the alarm to unlock and the car alarm went crazy, finally getting it to stop and got in the car and put the key in the ignition, car wouldnt start, battery completely dead, realized lights were left on. I got someone to jump the car, got it running however no lights or anything would come on (no stereo, inside outside lights, clock, nothing!), it also would not go into gear. Then the alarm would no longer work. Kept going to car the past few days at work, it will start up, however still nothing will light up and still will not go into any gear to move the car. Car starts thats about it.  A friend located the valet switch and followed manual to reset alarm, but it will not do anything. I have googled the problem, and found many similar problems after a battery has died, but many were solved by resetting from manual, however its not working for me. Do you have any idea what could be going on? What I could do? I cant afford at the moment to have the car towed, and be looked at. If I could just get it to go into gear so I could drive it home, which is only 2 blocks away, but it seems after the battery died the alarm has locked up everything. Battery seems charged now, as the car will start just nothing else will work, do you think trying a new battery might help? I am at a loss as to what to do, if you couldhelp it would be appreciated. Thank you
