QuestionI have a 2004 Acura TL with approx 86000 miles on it. In December of 07 when it was very cold I parked and locked the door and after about 1 hour the alarm went off. I turned it off with my key fob then locked it again and it went off again. This happened several times in different locations. Then yesterday with very warm weather it happened. I travel a good bit, stay in hotels and need to be able to lock it without fear of this happening and disturbing others. The Acura dealership in my town could not give me answers or how to fix it other than disconnecting it. Do you have any answers please?
AnswerLet me start by determining WHICH alarm system is
doing this.
Is it car horn honking and headlight flashing?
or siren and flashing parking lights?
After market is easier to work out.
If it's a temp sensor you are dealing with from
the manufacturer, then they will need to either
repair, replace or disable it unfortunately, so
I need a bit more input to proceed here.
