Car Alarms: Car Alarm and valet mode, keyless entry remotes, valet mode

Question
I have an 04 ford taurus and it has a factory alarm.  I have no keyless entry remotes for it and the dealership that we bought it from cut the wires to the audible part of the alarm.  I believe that the car has been running in valet mode and every now and then it shuts down the car so that I cant start it.  When it does this it can take me from 5 minutes to an hour to get it running again, what can I do to take care of this problem?  Is there a way that I can bypass it myself or should I just take it to a ford dealeship?  Thank you,

Jake

Answer
Here's the thing Jake, the factory alarm would use the car
horn as it's "audible" device. I am confussed as to what
wires they cut? It's all interconnected.

Was it a siren? If it's an add on device, then there
may be an over ride switch, if not, disabling the
PATS system (FORDS Passive Anti Theft System)
may be the only way to get around this.
It will require a bypass module called the xk04-im04.

Get back to me and let me know.
