Car Alarms: cant turn alarm system off, infinity i30, alarmtek

Question
We own a 1996 Infinity I30 with factory alarm system.  We do not have the remote control and my daughter turn the alarm system on inside the car.  When she opened the door, the alarm went off.  How can we turn the alarm off without the remote control.

Answer
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.
