Car Alarms: passlock system with remote starter installed, chevy impala, gm dealer

Question
I have a 2001 chevy impala with passlock issues, i installed an autopage RS-727 alarm/remote starter to crank whenever the key would not work until it wouldn't start at all. Now i had the GM dealer replace the ignition lock cylinder and while its at the dealer it will not start, obviously the alarm comes with a bypass so how would i ground the passlock completely out?

Answer
If the remote starter is not working, the point is moot.
The installed remote starter should still work if
the passlock is still working.

The bypass module receives a ground from the
remote starter. If not working, then
the bypass module is not seeing a code that
works at all.

You probably will still need to have the dealer
reset the passlock since they did the column
ignition switch. It appears they did
not complete the job.

Good luck.
