Car Alarms: 2007 Jeep liftgate problem, jeep grand cherokee, pin switch

Hi, I have a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the liftgate was recently damaged, so I had a new one put on. However, the key fob no longer opens the liftgate, and the computer in the dash states the liftgate is still open, and beeps constantly, but the liftgate is closed. I'm assuming it's a computer problem that needs to be reset. How do I go about that??

The door pin switch for the rear door/hatch was not
re done properly at the light/door trigger,
or is disconnected.

Please return to the service department at Jeep,
and have them repair this itemm, Not an expensive thing,
just was left "undone" when the put they door back together
from the sounds of it. They left it that way,
return it to them so they can now COMPLETE the job you
paid for.
