Car Alarms: Stock Toyota Camry Alarm, toyota camry, resident technicians

Question
Hey I have a 2000 Toyota Camry XLE. It comes with a simple LOCK/UNLOCK/PANIC remote for my "alarm". If a door is opened while it is Locked/Armed, the horn will sound every 2 secs at a loud decibal. Although in your eyes this isnt a real good alarm, I wanted to know if you had any idea where this currently would be located (what relay or fuse). I have some cheap LEDs that I wanted to hook into the system, so that they would light up after pressing the LOCK button and then turn off when I press UNLOCK. I need to tap into a current wire for the alarm that receives power when the alarm is UNLOCKED and STOPS receiving power when it is LOCKED. I was thinking possibly the domelight fuse might work for this? I do not have enough money at this time to upgrade the entire alarm, so I figured putting some LEDs when the car was locked would further deter thefts. If you have any info for me at all, please let me know. I appreciate it.

Answer
Sorry, I won't advise you to do this half way.
What I can do is to send you to the forum.

Go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

I hope they can help.
