Car Alarms: TRC Alarm Problems, nissan sentra, power locks

Question
Hi,

I have a TRC alarm on the nissan sentra I just bought.  For the past couple of weeks the alarm has worked some times and not others.  Today when I went into school I armed the alarm.  When I got out the alarm will not react to the clicker.  The batteries are new in both remotes.  But when I push unlock or lock or the panic button nothing happens.  Also the blinking light on the dash, that is normally blinking when the alarm is engaged, is no longer blinking.  The ingition as well as the power locks have all been disabled.  So essentially I can get in and out of the car, but it won't start.

I references a very helpful answer you gave someone else recently about turning the key in the ignition and hitting the valet toggle swtich.  However, it hasn't worked for me, I suspect because the LED light is not blinking on the dash.

Could you please let me know anything I can do to get my car to start?

Thanks so much,
Ian

Answer
Hmmm, sorry to hear it.
Well then, it's on to removal from
the factory wiring under the dash.

I would suggest you go to the local
Circuit City or Best Buy or any other
local installation shop for inspection/repair
or removal to solve this issue for you.

Wish I could have offered more.

Good luck with it.
