Car Alarms: clifford alarm spiked!, golf mk3, clifford alarm

hi guys, i have golf mk3 with a clifford arrow 2 alarm, i have disconnected the battery from the car and when i connected back the car simply won't start, it is immobilised, i read on the net that the alarm is spiked.
any idea how to de-spike this alarm please.
any help would be very much appreciated.
