Car Alarms: Antitheft device and no door key, nissan 200sx, valet mode

Question
QUESTION: I lost the original keys to my 96 Nissan 200sx over a year ago. We replaced the ignition and got a new set of keys but they do not work in the door. My alarm was set off and the only way we knew to turn it off was to unlock the outside of the door with the door key. Now I have no door key and the alarm was triggered and now the car won't start. Help what am I supposed to do?

ANSWER: Please be more descriptive if possible.

"GOING OFF?"

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: it has a shut off to the starter that has been triggered all my electrical components work and i have no flashing lights or horns going off now it just has shut off the starter. The horn and lights were going off and we had to unhook the battery for it to stop now it wont start back up.

Answer
It's likely to be an after market system.

To try to disarm it,
look under the dash area for a button or,
a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the
ignition key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. Once in Valet mode,
it will allow the car to start and operate
like there was no alarm at all.

The next step is to either remove the
impact/shock sensor or, try to turn it down.
This might require a local technician to
identify it, and affect neccesary service for you.

Repeat steps to put into user mode.

That should solve the troubles.

Let me know how it goes.
